A driver in his 30s who died in a crash due to drunk driving has been booked.

A driver who caused a death accident while driving while drinking has been caught by the police.

Incheon Seobu Police Station booked a man in his 30s on charges of dangerous driving death under the Specific Crime Weighted Penalty Act and drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.

A is accused of driving while drinking on the road in Dangha-dong, Incheon at around 11:50 p.m. last night (19th), and hitting a taxi ahead, killing a man in his 60s and injuring a woman in her 20s.

In the accident, it was found that the car A was driving collided with the left rear of the taxi, and in the aftermath, the taxi was pushed toward the sidewalk and hit the traffic light.

Police say A's blood alcohol level was at the level of license revocation, and they plan to investigate the details of the accident and consider applying for an arrest warrant as soon as A receives hospital treatment.
