The Marine Corps said it participated in the "2024 Kamandak" multinational joint training in the Philippines.

Kamandak is an annual exercise conducted by the U.S. and Philippine Marines since 2017 with the aim of strengthening counterterrorism capabilities, coastal defense, and combat technology through cooperation between allies.

The South Korean Marine Corps has participated in training for three consecutive years since it first participated on a company-level basis in 2022.

This year, along with company-level troops, we dispatched experts in the maintenance field to maintain and repair Korean landing armored vehicles exported to the Philippines.
