Construction of a space containing historical and symbolic features around Seoul National Cemetery

The Seoul Metropolitan Government has ordered a service to transform the 200,000㎡ site, including the periphery of the Seoul National Cemetery, into a space containing the country's historicity and symbolism.The city of

plans to select a 200,000㎡ site in five areas, including the surrounding area of the Memorial Park, to make it a unique space, with the aim of symbolism as a representative space to establish Korea's identity and raise its national status.

A Seoul city official said, "The size of the site can be changed from 200,000 square meters," adding, "We will consult with the government."
