The fire at the factory in Incheon spread out of control due to strong winds.

Smoke from the big fire covered the sky and was visible from dozens of kilometers away, forcing holidaymakers to wipe out their alarmed hearts.

I'm reporter Yang Dong-hoon.

This is a tip-off video taken at Incheon Bridge, about 20km from the fire site in Wanggil-dong, Incheon.

The black smoke stretches so long that there is no end in sight.

It was also clearly visible in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, about 10 kilometers from where the fire broke out.

[Lee Kyu-jin / Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province] It was amazing that the smoke seemed so close from such a distance. The planes (in and out of Incheon Airport) looked like they were going into the smoke, so I thought about what if the real fire damages the planes.]

The strong wind caused the fire to spread out of control, black smoke bands covered the sky, and reports continued on YTN.

Dozens of related reports have been filed only by the fire authorities in Gyeonggi-do Province.

The fire department believes that the fire, which was burned by strong winds, spread to the sandwich panel and spread quickly because the factory was close together.

[Cho Bo-hyung / Director of 119 Disaster Response Division, Geomdan Fire Station, Incheon: It was composed of sandwich panels and temporary buildings, so the combustion expanded quickly. Also, it was difficult to wait for a fire truck because the building had a small gap.

The fire seemed to have once spread to nearby hillsides, but the fire department preemptively blocked it, and Incheon Seo-gu Office sent safety texts to residents to pay attention to smoke and guide them through vehicle detours.
