A big fire broke out at a factory in Incheon, and about 30 nearby factories were burned down.

Black smoke covered the area, and about 90 residents were evacuated at one point.

Black smoke engulfed the industrial complex in Wanggil-dong, Incheon.

A bright red flame rises and the black plumes of smoke head into the sky, unstoppable.

Fire helicopters keep spraying water, but it seems insufficient to prevent the fire that has grown as it grows.

[Kim Soon-jae / Witness: Smoke came up from the factory and ran out early in the morning, and it kept spreading to the next building. It was a huge fire, so it was too fast to spread to the side..]

The fire started around 8:40 a.m.

In 30 minutes, the first stage of response was issued, and when strong winds spread the fire to other factories, it was once upgraded to the second stage of response.

[Kim Mi-soon / Witness: The wind blows so hard that fireworks fly away, and I heard a lot of gas can explode. So I thought, "Oh, I'm in trouble."]

No one was injured, but smoke spread and more than 90 nearby residents were evacuated.

Seven and a half hours after the fire, there is still a lot of gray smoke around.

The fire that started here swallowed dozens of factories in an instant.

Dozens of buildings have been damaged, and in front of a factory that has been scratched and burned to ashes, factory officials are just at a loss.

The fire department is investigating the exact cause of the fire based on witness statements.
