It turns out that around 100 people are caught drinking and driving ships every year.

According to the data received by Yoon Joon-byung of the Democratic Party of Korea from the Korea Coast Guard, 499 suspects were caught for maritime drunk operations from 2019 to June this year.

By year, there were around 100 people every year, including 115 in 2019, 119 in 2020, and 82 in 2021.

Among them, 238 people accounted for more than 0.08% of the blood alcohol level, which is a license cancellation.
