With the general election of Japan's House of Representatives just six days away (five days), there are a series of predictions that it will be difficult for the ruling Liberal Democratic Party to secure a single majority.

The main opposition Constitutional Democratic Party is expected to see a significant increase in the number of seats, casting a dark cloud over Prime Minister Ishiba's post-election moves.

The prospect of securing a majority of seats in Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party is getting darker.

According to a survey of 360,000 voters by the Asahi Shimbun, the number of seats in the Liberal Democratic Party's House of Representatives decreased by about 50 from 247 before the election.

It is far below the 233 seats, which is the majority of the 465 seats in the House of Representatives.

If the Liberal Democratic Party fails to secure a single majority of seats, it will be the first time since retaking power in 2012.

The ruling New Komeito Party is also forecast to fall below 30 seats from the previous 32, making it difficult for the two parties to hold a coalition majority.

Liberal Democratic Party President Ishiba strives to prevent the recurrence of the party's biggest weakness, the slush fund scandal,

[Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba] / Japanese Prime Minister: For whatever reason, our Liberal Democratic Party should be held responsible for not listing political funds. It deserves all the criticism.]

Ishiba's Cabinet approval rating dropped to 28% in this month's survey of supporting news agencies,
Immediately after the launch of
, warnings have been issued at a lower level compared to the previous cabinet approval rating.

On the other hand, the main opposition Constitutional Democratic Party was forecast to rise to 140 seats from 98 seats.

The Constitutional Democratic Party is gaining momentum day after day by intensively targeting the Liberal Democratic Party's political slush funds.

[Noda / Leader of the Constitutional Democratic Party]: Isn't this the politics of the Liberal Democratic Party, where large companies react immediately when they say they don't have cash?]

The National Democratic Party is also expected to increase from seven seats to around 20, and the Communist Party is expected to gain more than 10 seats, which is the existing seat.

If the failure of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party's majority of seats becomes a reality, Prime Minister Ishiba's disruption in state administration and his position in the party will inevitably be hit hard.
