Yes, actor Kim Soo-mi, who is familiar with the drama "The Country Diary," passed away this morning.

He was 75 years old and is believed to have died from hyperglycemic shock.

The Seocho Police Station in Seoul said Kim was taken to Seoul St. Mary's Hospital at around 8 a.m. today in cardiac arrest, but was pronounced dead.

Kim was reportedly found unconscious by his son at his home in Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu this morning and taken to a hospital.

Kim, who was born in 1949, debuted as an MBC open talent in 1971 and appeared in a variety of works, including the national drama "The Warring States Diary" and the movie "The Glory of the Family."

Kim appeared in the entertainment program "Chairman's People" until recently, and met with fans in the creative musical "Friendly Mom," which ended in May.

However, since May, he has been hospitalized for health reasons and temporarily suspended his activities, which has led to a rumor of health abnormalities.

Kim's son also told the media on the phone that Kim was under a lot of stress due to the musical's unpaid performance fees and was preparing a lawsuit.

Kim's mortuary will be set up at Hanyang University Hospital's funeral hall today.
