Yesterday (26th) afternoon, a dizzying accident occurred in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, where old buildings are concentrated, when a two-story multi-family house collapsed.

In 2018, the four-story building collapsed nearby, causing a huge social shock, but the safety insensitivity of Yongsan-gu Office, which needs to manage the safety of old buildings, has not improved at all even after six years.

One wall is crashing down, and the whole building is in danger of collapsing at any moment.

At around 6:15 p.m. yesterday (26th), a part of a two-story multi-family house in Han River-ro-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul collapsed.

The road is full of bricks and trash.

The district office restricted access in case of further collapse.

No one lived in the building, so there were no casualties, but citizens and neighbors were relieved of their surprise.

The collapsed house is an old building that has been built for 50 years and has recently been undergoing interior work to be used as a shopping mall.

The district office believes that the construction affected the accident and plans to demolish the building today (27th) to prevent a second accident.

The five-car collision near the Cheongna Interchange on the Incheon International Airport Expressway occurred at around 5 p.m. today (26th).

[Accident Witness: I was very surprised. The sound was so loud that I thought, "Isn't debris flying in?".]

{No one was injured in the accident, but at one point, some roads were blocked, causing congestion.

The front of the car is badly dented, and the front of the utility pole is a wheel that has fallen off due to a collision shock.

Yesterday (26th) at around 8:20 p.m., a car crashed into a utility pole in Jangan-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon.

The driver is being treated at the hospital for injuries to his neck and arm, and police believe the accident occurred due to careless driving.
