During the Jamboree concert last year, 18% of Sangam Stadium's grass was damaged.

Last year, the Jamboree K-pop concert damaged the grass at the Seoul World Cup Stadium by 18%, costing more than 200 million won to restore it.


According to the data received by Rep. Wi Sung-gon of the Democratic Party of Korea from the Seoul Facilities Corporation, it was a Jamboree concert held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on August 11 last year,
Of the 8,740 square meters of hybrid grass mixed with
natural and artificial turf, 1,604 square meters, 18% of which is damaged.

The cost of restoring the grass was 238 million won, which was executed by KBS, which hosted the event.

Earlier, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that it had organized a budget to restore the grass from the concert planning stage and would do its best to support the restoration.
