Chairman Chung Eui-sun and Akio Toyoda held their first public meeting...Hyundai Motor and Toyota Motorsports 'Hands-on'

Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun and Toyota Motor Group Chairman Akio Toyoda met at the venue of the domestic motorsport festival to strengthen their willingness to cooperate.

This is the first time that Toyota, the No. 1 global carmaker, and Hyundai Motor Group, the No. 3 head of the global automobile industry, have met in public.

Hyundai Motor held the "Hyundai N x Toyota Gaju Racing Festival" today (27th) at the "Everland Speedway" in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, attended by Chairman Chung and Chairman Toyoda.

The festival was the first event held by Hyundai Motor's high-performance brands Hyundai N and Toyota Gaju Racing to revitalize motorsports culture, and a large number of high-performance models and race cars from both companies were introduced.

The event was held with more than 3,000 people, including general customers, media, influencer, and officials from both companies.

Attention is also focusing on whether Chung Eui-sun and Akio's first meeting at the Motor Sports Festival, a test of automotive technology, will lead to an alliance between the two groups during the upheaval of the automobile industry.
