The prosecution, which is investigating the allegation of Kim Gun-hee's involvement in the nomination of first lady Kim Gun-hee and Myung Tae-kyun's illegal poll, called in the representative of a poll company suspected of being practically operated by Myung in the past.

Attention is being paid to whether the related investigation will speed up, but Myung repeatedly insisted on his innocence, saying he only devoted himself to regime change.

Kim, a registered representative of the Future Korea Research Institute, who was investigated by the prosecution, is known to have been an aide to former lawmaker Kim Young-sun.

He attended the prosecution two days after he was raided at his home and office for his involvement in illegal opinion polls.

Kim previously claimed that he only lent his name and that the real owner of the Future Korea Research Institute was Myung, but prosecutors are intensively checking who paid for various polls conducted ahead of the last presidential election.

Kang Hye-kyung, who raised suspicions of illegal polls, claimed that Myung conducted 81 polls for Yoon Suk Yeol candidates during the presidential election and won the nomination of former lawmaker Kim Young-sun in June 2022.

He said he devoted himself to the regime change and wrote the four-character idiom "Geongon Ilchuk," which means a game that risks fate.

When I met with YTN reporters earlier, he refuted that he had nothing to do with the management of the future Korea Research Institute and had never asked for a nomination in exchange for a poll.
