More than 1,100 inside directors of the 30th Group set to expire

In Korea's 30 largest groups, more than 1,100 internal directors are set to expire in the first half of next year.

Unico Search, a global headhunting company, surveyed the current status of registered executives as internal directors of the top 30 groups in Korea.

In these companies, 3,700 internal directors will remain in office after the beginning of January next year, and 1,145, or 31%, will end their terms in the first half of the year.

Among them, 515 CEOs have CEO positions, and Samsung Electronics included Roh Tae-moon, Park Hak-kyu and Lee Jung-bae.

Kwak No-jung, CEO of SK Hynix, Park Won-chul, CEO of SKC, and Kwon Bong-seok, CEO of LG, and Cho Joo-wan, CEO of LG Electronics, are set to expire in the SK Group.

Executives whose terms expire will be determined whether they will serve consecutive terms, move their seats, or leave office in personnel appointments to be carried out at the end of this year and early next year.
