'False Property Report' Kim Nam-guk Denies Charges at First Trial

Former Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Nam-guk, who was put on trial on charges of false property reporting, denied the charges in his first trial.

In the first trial held at the Seoul Southern District Court today (28th), former lawmaker Kim argued that the deposit held in the middle of the property report was not subject to the report.

Former lawmaker Kim took the opportunity to speak in person and claimed that the prosecution launched an investigation directly on charges that were completely different from the charges accused, and that his defense rights were violated, saying he did not inform him of the charges while notifying him of the summons.

Former lawmaker Kim is accused of transferring some of his coin account deposits to a bank deposit account to hide the fact that he made a large profit from his coin investment when he filed his property report in 2021 and 2022, and converting the rest into coins to interfere with the review of his property changes.
