You've heard of 'Pansori', a combination of sad voices and drums.
In downtown Seoul, a festival is being held to promote our pansori to the world.

Yes, it's in Namsangol Hanok Village.

There's a pansori festival there right now?
[Reporter]
Yes, it is.
It was full of pansori in this place where I came out.
Rehearsal is in full swing ahead of the start of the concert.
The sound of the
rich rhythm is bringing more and more citizens to this place for the holidays.
The 'World Pansori Festival' opened grandly on the 1st.
The festival will be co-hosted by the World Pansori Association and Namsangol Hanok Village,
Pansori is recognized as a cultural asset that has made a mark on humanity to the extent that it was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2003.
As if to prove this reputation, a variety of programs are waiting for citizens here.
From 2 p.m., you can see delicious performances, starting with Gayageum Byeongchang [Heungboga] of Gwangju Metropolitan City's Intangible Cultural Property, and Jeokbyeokga (Jeokbyeokga) sung by female singers.
There is also an unusual stage to convey our tradition to the world, and you can learn pansori for free.
In addition, you can also enjoy Cheongsachorong, where you can make your own fan and experience our beautiful light.
Why don't we fall in love with our tradition today?
So far, I am YTN Lee Minjae in Namsangol Hanok Village.
