Democratic U.S. presidential candidate Kamala Harris's defeat in the presidential election continues to cause controversy.

On the 6th (local time), foreign media recalled several mistakes that destroyed Vice President Harris' early rise as the Democratic Party received a shabby report card of defeat even though it poured $1 billion and about 1.4 trillion won into the presidential election.

A case in point is Vice President Harris' interview with ABC's "The View" in early October, when the host asked Vice President Harris if there was anything she would have done differently than President Joe Biden over the past four years.

It wasn't an easy question to answer as vice president of the Biden administration, but it was also a moment for Vice President Harris to differentiate herself from President Biden as a presidential candidate and make sure she imprints her presence on voters.

However, Vice President Harris said, "I can't think of anything," adding, "I was a part of most decisions," but he let go of the opportunity to show his own policy vision without over-emphasizing President Biden's mistakes.

The British Financial Times (FT) pointed out, "In several interviews, candidate Harris continued to struggle to clearly show her differences with President Biden," which means that he only gave Trump an excuse for the attack while showing limitations in putting himself forward.

The FT also pointed to Vice President Harris's failure to answer difficult questions without immediately answering them.

In his first interview as a Democratic presidential candidate in early September, he was asked what specific policies would lower the cost of living for households, and he gave a different, almost four-minute, non-committal answer.

In addition, several factors have been pointed out as the cause of the defeat, including that President Biden should have resigned as a presidential candidate earlier or that Democrats neglected to secure workers' votes.

CNN reporter Alex Thompson introduced an anecdote in which a close aide of President Biden criticized the Harris camp for "How can you not spend $1 billion and win?" and said some say that President Biden should have been out of the presidential race sooner.

He then added a Democratic official's assessment that the Democratic Party is walking to disaster like a sleepwalker and changing pitchers in the sixth inning was not enough.
