As nuclear powers Russia, China and North Korea strengthen military cooperation, the U.S. has revised its nuclear weapons operation strategy to simultaneously curb the nuclear threats of the three countries.

The Pentagon said on the 15th local time that it had submitted to Congress an open version of the "491 Report" outlining U.S. nuclear operations strategies.

President Biden's revised nuclear operations guidelines this year indicated that the U.S. should be able to simultaneously contain Russia, China and North Korea in normal or crisis situations.

China has launched ambitious expansion, modernization and diversification of its nuclear forces, built three basic nuclear forces, and China's lack of transparency and growing military activism raise questions about its intentions and nuclear strategy.

At the same time, North Korea said it is continuing to expand, diversify, and improve its nuclear and ballistic missiles and non-nuclear capabilities.

"The evidence that Russia, China, North Korea and Iran are strengthening cooperation and collusion makes the situation more challenging," he said, predicting that in the event of a crisis or conflict, enemies may cooperate in hostilities or act opportunistically together.
