The A-match winning streak was suspended as the national soccer team led by head coach Hong Myung-bo ended up with a draw with Palestine in the World Cup qualifying round.

The national soccer team drew 1-1 with the Palestinians in Amman, Jordan, after losing a point due to Kim Min-jae's back pass error and Son Heung-min scored an equalizer.

Son Heung-min, who scored his 51st goal in the A-match, beat Hwang Sun-hong to rank second alone with the most goals in the A-match.

The national team, which had won four consecutive games after a draw with Palestine in the first game, stopped its winning streak by drawing with Palestine again, but maintained its lead in the group with 14 points.

Hong Myung-bo will bring home Oman and Jordan in March next year to make an early decision to the World Cup finals.
