The ruling party submits an additional opinion request for live broadcast of the first trial of Lee Jae-myung perjury teacher.

The People's Power has decided to again request the first trial of Democratic Party Chairman Lee Jae-myung's perjury teacher charge to allow live TV broadcasts on the 25th.

Joo Jin-woo, chairman of the party's legal advisory committee, said he will submit an additional opinion to the Seoul Central District Court hearing the case this afternoon (20th).

Representative Joo argued that after Lee's first trial of violating the Public Official Election Act on the 15th, interest in the perjury teacher's trial has increased, and many people are hoping to broadcast it live.

He also stressed that as the Democratic Party of Korea does not admit its election law conviction, it is expected to have a positive effect on the justice level if the upcoming representative Lee's sentencing process is delivered in real time.
