Nongshim to raise factory prices of Baeksansu by 9.9% on average next month

Nongshim has decided to raise the factory price of bottled water by 9.9% on average starting next month.

The convenience store price of 500ml of Baeksansu will increase by 5.3% from 950 won to 1,000 won, while large discount stores will increase by 11.6% from 430 won to 480 won.

The increase in the price of Baeksansu is the first in six years and 11 months since January 2018, and Nongshim explained that it adjusted the price due to rising costs such as material prices and logistics costs.

Nongshim also plans to raise the factory price of 355 ml of soda by an average of 7.6% next month.
