Yoon Seok-joon, head of Dong-gu Office in Daegu, is indicted without detention on charges of violating the Political Fund Act.

The Daegu District Prosecutors' Office indicted without detention Yoon Seok-joon, the head of Daegu's Dong-gu Office, and A, the head of the election camp's accounting department, on charges of paying part of the election expenses with personal accounts that were not reported to the NEC during the 2022 local elections.

They are accused of spending 53 million won, including sending text messages, from Mayor Yoon's personal account at the time of the election.

Mr. A is also accused of spending 78 million won on election expenses while acting as the head of the campaign accounting department without reporting it to the NEC.
