[Gyeonggi] Gapyeong-gun opens the first store of the 'Tourism Promotion Hall' in the visiting room of the 66th Division.

Gapyeong-gun said it has opened the first Gapyeong-gun Tourism Promotion Center, which can promote history, culture, and tourism resources in the visitation room of the Army's 66th Infantry Division.

The county explained that the opening is part of the so-called "military-civilization movement" to induce soldiers to move into Gapyeong-gun in response to the population decline.

With the creation of a tourism promotion center, the military said it plans to provide information on tourism and festivals to military personnel and visitors to attract the tourism population.

An official from Gapyeong-gun said, "The opening of the tourism promotion center is an exemplary example of coexistence between the county and the region."
