The Bank of Korea Governor Lee Chang-yong has effectively drawn a line regarding being mentioned as the next prime minister.
Asked about the rumor of the next prime minister at a press conference on monetary policy direction yesterday (28th), Lee said he would stick to his role as governor of the Bank of Korea.
He said he had prepared an answer as if he expected a related question, stressing that it is most important to faithfully do his current work as the economic situation is not easy.
