U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has appointed his in-laws as an adviser to the Middle East, following the French ambassador.

Critics point out that Trump may continue his "ethnicity politics" that relies on his family in the second period following the first period of Trump.

Trump has announced that he will appoint his in-laws, Masad Bullos, as his adviser on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs.

Masad Bullos, a Lebanese-American lawyer, is the father-in-law of his younger daughter Tiffany.

Bullos is said to have met several times with Arab and Muslim American leaders during the presidential election and played a role in Trump's election.

Earlier, Trump nominated Charles Kushner, father-in-law of his eldest daughter Ivanka, as a candidate for ambassador to France.

Kushner, who is similar to Trump's, reportedly donated a large sum to the Trump campaign during the election, in that he has built a great fortune through the real estate development industry.

In 2004, he was sentenced to two years in prison on charges of tax evasion, etc.
During the
trial, he was also noted as a 'mock protagonist' by installing hidden cameras and buying prostitution women to intimidate his brother-in-law who cooperated with the prosecution.

As Trump nominated Kushner, who was pardoned a month before the first term of office in 2020, as an ambassador this time, controversy over his qualifications is expected to intensify in the appointment process.

CNN pointed out that Trump has long given political roles to his family, causing controversy over conflicts of interest and nepotism.

Earlier, during Trump's first term, his eldest daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner were senior White House aides and had significant influence on major policies.

CNN analyzed that Trump's unusual decision to appoint his two daughters' father-in-law to important posts shows that he will continue the precedent of relying on trusted families in his second term in office.
