In preparation for "Northern Filth Balloon, Drone Terror"...Gyeonggi Southern Office, Virtual Training

The Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency said it recently conducted virtual drills to prepare for counterterrorism conditions, including filth balloons in North Korea and drones used in the war in Ukraine.

About 120 people from 35 organizations, including the Scientific Investigation Department, the Police Command, and the Air Force Operation Command, participated in the training held at the air force must-win shooting range in Taebaek, Gangwon-do from the 27th to the 28th of last month.

The training consisted of responding to virtual situations in which explosives burst in the air or taking fingerprints and genes from collected explosives.

Kim Joon-young, head of the Southern Gyeonggi-do Provincial Government, said that Gyeonggi-do Province is a place where there is a concern about an explosion attack because it is adjacent to North Korea, and that he will share the training results with provincial and provincial police agencies across the country.
