Two people have cardiac arrest due to toxic gas in Ponsa, Wanju, Jeollabuk-do

At around 1:30 p.m. today, three people suffocated and collapsed at a pig shed in Soyang-myeon, Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do.

Two of them were taken to the hospital in cardiac arrest.

Fire officials say hydrogen sulfide, a toxic gas, was detected at the scene of the accident.

Police and fire authorities are investigating how the accident occurred.
