Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, attended the trial on suspicion of preferential treatment in Daejang-dong for the first time since he was found not guilty in the first trial of the perjury teacher case.

Representative Lee attended the hearing on the preferential development of Daejang-dong and Wirye held at the Seoul Central District Court today (3rd) and did not answer any questions from reporters about the prosecution's impeachment and the prosecution's appeal of the first trial of perjury.

The trial ended in 15 minutes because Yoo Dong-kyu, former head of Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, who was scheduled to be questioned as a witness, was not present because he was sick.

However, the prosecution argued that there was a possibility of accomplice intervention and the possibility of destroying evidence, saying that it was confirmed that representative Lee asked after copying the contents of the newspaper conducted in other trials.

The court asked if copying was a problem, but the prosecution answered that the content should be accurate, but the wrong content was presented.

In response, representative Lee's lawyer protested that the facts should be judged by the court, calling them rude remarks.
