Musk Says "Wow...Shocking" On News Of Korean Martial Law

Tesla Inc TSLA CEO Elon Musk, a close ally of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, has responded to the news of South Korea's emergency on several occasions by saying he is surprised.

Musk posted two quotes on his social media as a comment post by a user that Yoon Suk Yeol's president had declared a state of emergency.

About three hours later, he wrote "Wow" in the comments again when the Korean National Assembly passed a resolution calling for the lifting of the emergency martial law with the approval of all 190 lawmakers present.

In addition, another user's comment, "What is happening in Korea right now," replied, "Yes this is shocking."

Musk's comments were shared hundreds of times, followed by comments from users who were curious about the background of Korea's emergency martial law and the situation afterwards.
