Former and current police officers and police chiefs filed a complaint against the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit on charges of "insurrection."

Current and former police officers have filed a complaint against senior police officials in connection with the martial law incident.

Former chairman of the National Police Workplace Council, Gong Min-ki and others said they will file a complaint with the high-ranking government official's criminal investigation office against Cho Ji-ho, Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Commissioner Kim Bong-sik, Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's deputy public safety chief, and Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's security chief on charges of rebellion and abuse of authority.

They explained the purpose of the accusation that senior police officers physically interfered with the duties of lawmakers and violated the constitutional rights of the people in the process of unfair martial law being declared and enforced.

In particular, Police Commissioner Jo Ji-ho claimed that he approved or actively enforced the declaration of unfair martial law and led actions that threatened the constitutional order.

Earlier, the National Assembly Guard, led by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, controlled access to the National Assembly when President Yoon Suk Yeol declared an emergency martial law, causing controversy in the process.
