movie 'The Attorney' to the 'Steel Rain' series. Director Yang Woo-seok, who has always delivered the necessary stories for our society in a new genre, will come to the audience this winter with a new family-themed movie.

The movie "The Big Family," which he caught on the megaphone, is a family comedy in which grandchildren who have never seen the world come to the owner of a dumpling restaurant (Kim Yoon-seok), who has lost their money because of his son (Lee Seung-gi), who became a monk.

YTN met with director Yang Woo-seok in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul this morning (4th) to talk about various things related to the movie 'The Big Family'.

It is the first return in four years since the "Steel Rain 2: Summit" in 2020, and director Yang opened the interview by expressing his welcome about it. Why did he choose "Large Family" as his return to directing after a long time? Director Yang Woo-seok said, "The form and meaning of the family and the relationship between the family have changed a lot. All families are similar, but all families are different. However, I think it is unchanged that family members have to take care of each other and take care of each other. In that sense, "extraordinary family" is the most necessary story right now, he said.

In the movie's title, "The Big Family," the reason why "Dae" used Dae-dae, not Dae-dae, is similar. Director Yang said, "The title of the movie has an important meaning. It is read as a big family, but it implies "about the family," he said, adding that the movie will reach any audience meaningfully, explaining, "From the generation of children to the generation of fathers and grandfathers, everyone grows up with the meaning of family."

He did not hide his praise and respect for the movie's two main characters, Kim Yoon-seok and Lee Seung-ki. First of all, about Kim Yun-seok, he gave a thumbs-up, saying, "An actor who finds our lost face." Director Yang said, "We don't know what facial expressions we make in our lives, but when we see Kim Yun-seok, we realize it like looking in the mirror. In that sense, I think Kim Yun-seok's acting is the best gift to the audience."

He also expressed his gratitude and gratitude to Lee Seung-ki for shaving his head for this work.
