A majority of the U.S. people expect Trump to do well in the presidential job, according to a poll.
According to CNN's survey of more than 1,000 people nationwide from the 5th to the 8th, 54% of all respondents said they expect Trump to return to the White House and do well.
Fifty-five percent of respondents said they approved of Trump's current transition to the regime, while 48 percent said they expected Trump to make better changes.
CNN said Trump, who failed to win re-election four years ago, suggests he is spending a honeymoon with the public as he prepares to return to the White House.
However, Trump's approval rating is less than that of the U.S. president-elect before his recent inauguration.
Former President Barack Obama had 79 percent of the vote before taking office in a CNN survey, while President Joe Biden had 66 percent and former President George W. Bush had 65 percent of the vote.
