Acting President Han Deok-soo has decided not to present his request for reconsideration on six issues, the so-called veto, to the Cabinet meeting tomorrow (17th).

An official from the Prime Minister's Office said at a press briefing today (16th) that the so-called Four Agricultural Laws, including the Grain Management Act, the National Assembly Act, and the National Assembly Testimony Appraisal Act need more time to consider as the ruling and opposition parties are sharply confronting each other.

In the meantime, he said he understood that acting Han Deok-soo will make a final decision after communicating more with the ruling and opposition parties and listening to the opinions of those involved.

The deadline for vetoing six bills, including the Grain Management Act, which passed the National Assembly plenary session last month led by the opposition party, is due on the 21st.

As a result, attention is being paid to whether Acting President Han Deok-soo will hold an extraordinary Cabinet meeting in time to exercise his veto power.
