The Chinese government's first official position on the impeachment motion of President Yoon Suk Yeol came out.
It was South Korea's internal affairs, but it emphasized the importance of bilateral relations again and again.
Beijing correspondent Kang Jeong-gyu reports on what's inside.

China's Foreign Ministry briefing was held for the first time since South Korea's third presidential impeachment.
The official position was largely similar to that of the previous impeachment cases in 2004 and 2016.
It is said that it is Korea's internal affairs, but I hope that it will regain stability as soon as possible.
If there is anything that has changed, it has re-emphasized the importance of Korea-China relations.
[Lin Jian / Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson: Korea is an important neighbor and friendly partner of China. The healthy and stable development of bilateral relations is in the common interest.
This is based on China's agony that its strategic link with the Korean Peninsula has weakened ahead of the launch of Trump's second term.
First of all, the relationship between North Korea and China is colder than ever as the military closeness between North Korea and Russia led to the dispatch of troops.
Crucial evidence is that even the closing ceremony of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations within this year is virtually out of the question.
[Maoning / Spokesperson for China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Nov. 26): (When will the closing ceremony of the 'Year of Friendship' be held?) If there is any news, I will announce it right away.]
If Trump and Kim Jong-un's "Big Deal" resumes, the relationship between North Korea and China will inevitably widen.
Instead, they worked hard to restore relations between Korea and China, but they were lost due to martial law and impeachment.
President Xi Jinping's preparations for his first visit to Korea in 10 years are also feared to be disrupted in the wake of next year's Gyeongju APEC.
As it coincides with the timing of the replacement of ambassadors between the two countries, there are concerns about a long-term gap in local communication channels.
