The 250 Artists Who Are Powerful to U.S. Consumers Include Many K-Pop Stars

A number of K-pop stars, including Le Seraphim, were named in the Luminate Index, which measures artists' influence on U.S. consumers.

Among the top 250 artists in the Luminate Index, which was first released in the third quarter of this year, Le Seraphim ranked the highest at 66th, while Stray Kids, Newzins, Twice, and Black Pink Lisa were listed.

K-pop signage groups BTS and Blackpink, which had no team activities this year, were not included in the rankings.

Luminate is a well-known market research company that supplies data such as album sales to the U.S. Billboard charts, and it first released the Luminate Index this year, which measures artists' influence by combining streaming, social media, and awareness.
