Coca-Cola Beverage to Retire for the First Time... "Improves Stagnation of Human Resources"

Coca-Cola Beverage Co., a subsidiary of LG Household & Health Care, made its first voluntary retirement last month.

Coca-Cola Beverage is responsible for domestic production, distribution, and sales by purchasing undiluted beverage solution from Coca-Cola Korea.

This voluntary retirement is the first in 17 years since the company was acquired by LG Household & Health Care in 2007.

An LG Household & Health Care official explained that they have carried out voluntary retirement to improve the workforce congestion.

The target was an employee of the sales and logistics department born before 1971, and the company said it paid 0.5 to 2 years' basic annual salary as a lump sum for retirement based on age difference.
