The National Tax Service has released the list and personal information of 9,666 high-value and frequent delinquents who have failed to pay more than 200 million won in national taxes for more than a year on its website.
This year, 6,33 individuals and 3,633 corporations were newly disclosed, and the total amount of arrears was 6.1896 trillion won.
Along with the name, name, age, occupation, and address of the delinquent, the details of the amount of arrears, the deadline for payment, and the summary of the arrears were disclosed.
If the delinquent person is a corporation, the representative of the corporation was also disclosed.
The number of new disclosures increased by 1,700 from last year, and the amount of arrears increased by 1.583 trillion won.
By section, 7,465 people were in arrears of more than 200 million won to less than 500 million won, accounting for 77.2% of the total.
More than 10 billion won is 0.4%, or 35 people.
The National Tax Service said it released the list of delinquents because they did not pay taxes despite administrative sanctions such as forced collection such as seizure and public sale, prohibition of departure, and provision of data on arrears.
