On the 2nd, a fire broke out in an apartment in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province, killing a father in his 60s, and two sons in their 20s are being treated for burns.

The eldest son, A, fortunately stabilized after the surgery, but the second son, B, suffered a third-degree body burn and is reportedly struggling to survive by receiving donated skin tissue.

On the 14th, about 10 days after the incident, A appealed for help, saying that his younger brother B's condition was serious through X (X, former Twitter).

A said, "My younger brother was known as a saxophone prodigy since he was young, and he was preparing to return to the Navy's public relations college in the fourth grade after completing his third year of practical music at ○○ University." "When I was hospitalized for the first time as an emergency, the doctor said, 'The survival rate is 15% and prepare your mind' with 89% third-degree burns."

"There is no place to live, and fire insurance is not beneficial due to my father's arson," he said. "The hospital fee (my younger brother's) is also 500 million won for self-culture skin transplantation." He said, "I'm barely taking off the oxygen respirator and I'm self-breathing, so please help my brother to operate."

Since then, Internet users who have heard the story have been participating in the fundraising. When it was revealed that A was a writer who usually posted fan art on the "Blue Archive" gallery, donations from Nexon Games PD Kim Yong-ha and game fans continued.

The news of these families in distress was also delivered to comrades of the Navy's public relations team, where B was discharged this summer. About 15 comrades created an Instagram account to help Mr. B and started fundraising. However, he asked for help from the Bestian Video Support Foundation under the Donations Act, which prohibits fundraising activities of more than 10 million won with personal accounts.

Currently, funds are being raised through the Happy Bean sponsorship account opened by the Vestian Foundation, and as soon as the target amount (10 million won) is achieved, another fundraising place will be found.

Police are investigating the exact cause of the fire based on A's statement that "My father committed arson while my brother and I were asleep" in an apartment in Duho-dong, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, at around 11:30 a.m. on the 2nd.
