It has been revealed that the military took away the mobile phones of troops who had been deployed as martial law troops to the National Assembly and placed them on standby for two weeks to effectively imprison them.

The Military Human Rights Center held an emergency press conference this afternoon (17th) and claimed that the military authorities had put 707 Special Task Force members from the Special Warfare Command who returned to the unit after the martial law was lifted on the 4th on standby until today and forced them to submit their mobile phones.

The center pointed out that it is a clear illegal act that goes against the basic law of military service to order to wait in the compound by specifying only the number of people who have been sent to martial law forces among all troops, and that it was actually imprisoned to block communication with the outside world.

The center also said that at the time of martial law on the 3rd, members were told to go to the border without being notified of the sighting site, and there were reports that they had drawn blood along with writing a suicide note before being dispatched.
