Prosecutors arrested Justice Health...Alleged violations of the 2018 Political Fund Act

The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office today (17th) arrested a judge, identified only by his surname Jeon, who is suspected of violating the Political Fund Act.

Prosecutors believe Jeon, who is known as a shaman, received illegal political funds from politicians in 2018 in the name of helping local elections.

The prosecution also conducted a search and seizure of Jeon's home this morning.

Jeon was once known to have been active in Yoon Suk Yeol's presidential campaign in the past, sparking controversy.

At that time, President Yoon's camp explained that Jeon only received the title and did not actually work, and President Yoon also dismissed it as new.
