China, which has recently expanded visa-free entry, has increased its visa exemption to 10 days.
It is seen as an extension of the strategy to revitalize domestic demand in preparation for a "tariff war" since the launch of Trump's second term.
This is Beijing correspondent Kang Jeong-gyu.

Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, China, is also popular with Koreans as a filial piety tour course.
On the 8th of last month, the number of Korean tourists visiting this place increased by 150% after allowing visa-free entry.
[Korean tourist (Chinese Zhang Jiajie): Much more convenient. It's good that my visa is gone.]
China has extended its visa-free stay from 15 days to 30 days, and has also extended its "free travel visa."
When you travel to a third country via China, you can stay for up to 10 days without a visa.
The scope of application has also been expanded to 60 airports and ports in 24 provinces, including Beijing and Shanghai.
Passport holders from 54 countries, including Korea, can benefit, and the United States is also on the list for the first time.
[RYUJA / Deputy Director of Foreigners Management Bureau, National Immigration Bureau: To ensure that foreigners can reasonably plan their schedules, arrange their travel routes smoothly, and share tourism resources in more places....]
Coincidentally, the move was implemented a day after China's November economic data was released.Even during the
'Double Ten Days' shopping festival, retail sales growth was only 3%, and real estate investment fell 10.4%.
On a lackluster report card, China's 10-year Treasury yield fell to a record low of 1.73%.
In preparation for a tariff war since the launch of Trump's second term, China has been making every effort to boost domestic demand instead of exports.
This means that it is urgent enough to open the door of foreigners' entry wide to pour water into frozen consumption.
