The second trial of a U.S. attorney for killing his wife also carries 25 years in prison.

A U.S. attorney from a large law firm who was put on trial for killing his wife was also sentenced to heavy punishment in the second trial.

The Seoul High Court sentenced A, a man in his 50s charged with murder, to 25 years in prison, the same as the first trial, today (18th).

The court said A continued to be ruthless and brutal, and criticized that the victim's neglect for more than 50 minutes after the assault was based on a strong and persistent intention to kill him.

Mr. A was put on trial in December last year on charges of hitting his wife's separated head several times with a blunt instrument and strangling her to death at his home in Sajik-dong, Seoul.
