The U.S. Federal Reserve cuts another 0.25%.
The Fed made the decision during its regular December meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC).
As a result, the U.S. benchmark interest rate fell to 4.25% to 4.5%.
The interest rate gap between South Korea and the U.S. shrank to 1.5 percentage points as the U.S. Federal Reserve cut interest rates for the third consecutive time.
