The prosecution's special investigation headquarters, which investigates the emergency martial law incident, has summoned the investigation planning officer and the investigation planning coordinator of the National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters to investigate.
The prosecution is investigating today (19th) by calling Jeon Chang-hoon, the investigation planning officer at the National Headquarters, and Yoon Seung-young, the investigation planning coordinator, as a reference.
Prosecutors are reportedly looking into whether the National Defense Agency tried to put 10 detectives from Yeongdeungpo Police Station into an operation to arrest political figures, including lawmakers, at the request of the Defense Security Command after the declaration of martial law.
Earlier this afternoon (19th), the prosecution conducted a search and seizure against the National Police Agency and Yeongdeungpo Police Station on charges of intervening in the operation of the National Assembly's arrest team.
