The prosecution's investigation was also put on hold as Justice Jeon Sung-bae, who is suspected of pocketing back money in exchange for nomination, was released after the court rejected the arrest warrant.
The statute of limitations for Jeon is less than four months away, and the prosecution is also struggling.
Reporter Yoon Woong-sung reports.

Journalists camped in front of the Buddhist temple in Gangnam, Seoul, run by Geonjin Beopsa and Jeon Sung-bae.
I'm waiting for Jeon, who was released after the arrest warrant was rejected.
Jeon is accused of pocketing 100 million won worth of money in exchange for nomination to a candidate who ran for mayor of Yeongcheon, North Gyeongsang Province of the Liberty Korea Party during the 2018 local elections.
However, the statute of limitations for this violation of the Political Fund Act is 7 years.
There was a primary in April 2018, so the investigation should be completed and prosecuted within four months at the most.
There is not much time, but the wall in front of the prosecution is high.
In particular, the court, which dismissed the arrest warrant for Jeon, said that the method and amount of money Jeon received were not accurate, and that the charges were virtually insufficient.
Therefore, from the prosecution's point of view, it seems that the charges against Jeon must be further specified to request an arrest warrant again.
Gunjin Corporation and Jeon Sung-bae are suspected of violating the Political Fund Act as well as influencing various interests and political circles by using their relationship with President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife.
This is why the prosecution has secured Jeon's mobile phone and tablet PC, and some even analyzed that the impact may spread throughout the political world.
Attention is focusing on how far the prosecution's investigation, which has been put on hold by the rejection of the arrest warrant for Jeon, can go.
