Civic group "condemns the exercise of the right to veto acting president"

Acting President and Prime Minister Han Deok-soo, who vetoed six bills that passed the National Assembly, including the Grain Management Act, protested, saying he was mocking the people.

Yoon Suk Yeol's immediate resignation and emergency action for social reform made the claim today (20th) by marching in front of the prime minister's official residence in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace.

They pointed out that Han's veto of the National Assembly's decision is an abuse of authority beyond his delegated role, and he is not taking a position on the rebellion, the Special Prosecutor Kim Gun-hee Act, and the appointment of a constitutional judge.

Earlier, Han vetoed six bills yesterday (19th), including the amendment of the Grain Management Act and the National Assembly Testimony Appraisal Act.
