In Ulsan, where the fertility rate is decreasing every year, there is a family where a couple in their 50s and 10 siblings live harmoniously.

Ulsan City invited these multi-family families to encourage them and received advice on how to overcome the low birth rate.

gave birth to their first son in 1997, followed by their second daughter two years later, and their youngest and tenth son in 2013.

Mr. Byun and his wife, who currently have seven sons and three daughters, a total of 10 siblings, laugh constantly every day thanks to their children.

We have a lot of birthdays in a year. Since there are 12 of us. When you get together with your family, eat together, play games, and play games, that's a good time to give birth.]

However, contrary to Byun's family, Ulsan's fertility rate is low.

The fertility rate in Ulsan has been on the decline every year since 2015.

It fell to the zero mark in 2020 and has continued to decline since then.

To solve this problem, Ulsan City is promoting various policies on supporting newlyweds, encouraging childbirth, and caring for children.

We invited all these families to the city hall to come up with a more practical support plan.

At this meeting, I heard opinions on the hardships of multi-child families and the support they need.
