Fire at Jangheung Recycling Plant in Jeollanam-do...No casualties.

A fire broke out at a plastic waste recycling plant in the agricultural and industrial complex in Jangpyeong-myeon, Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do, at around 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd.

No one was injured in the fire, but one 1,800-square-meter factory was burned.

The fire authorities once issued the first stage of response, mobilizing all the fire department personnel in charge, and extinguished all the fires at around 8:10 p.m., three hours and 40 minutes later.

The fire department is investigating the exact cause of the fire based on an official's statement that the factory was not operating at the time of the fire.
