The Seoul 50 Plus Foundation said more than 2,000 middle-aged people have found new jobs through the middle-aged job project operated this year.
The foundation explained that 2,132 out of 10,000 business participants, including visitors to the middle-aged job fair, found jobs, and 1,900 out of 5,500 actual job seekers who participated in internships or job fairs succeeded in finding jobs.
Kang Myung, CEO of the Seoul 50 Plus Foundation, said, "We will actively expand the job business so that middle-aged job seekers can find new job opportunities at any time in cooperation with numerous companies that suffer from job difficulties in the era of population cliffs."
