Anseong City invested 37.5 billion won in national, provincial, and municipal expenses to recover from heavy snow damage.

Anseong City announced that it will invest 35.7 billion won to support farmers and small business owners affected by the heavy snow at the end of last month.The city of

will first provide a total of 33.7 billion won in disaster support, including state funds, provincial expenses, and municipal expenses, secured by the city being declared a special disaster area on the 18th.

The amount of support by sector includes 3.6 billion won for small business owners (10 million won per person, 360 people), 10.8 billion won for agriculture (3 million won or more per person, 2,500 farms), 10.7 billion won for livestock (6 million won or more per person, 680 farms), 570 million won for forest (more than 1 million won or more per person, 100 farms), and 8 billion won for other subsidies such as public facilities.

will separately provide a total of 3.8 billion won, including 1.9 billion won for Gyeonggi Province's reserve and emergency recovery, 1.2 billion won for the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, and 700 million won for the city's reserve, to support emergency recovery and demolition of livestock, rent and demolition of farm equipment, and restoration of small business owners and sports facilities.

Mayor Kim Bo-ra said, "Last month, heavy snow caused 177.4 billion won in 6,972 private facilities such as agricultural and livestock facilities in the jurisdiction," adding, "We will make efforts to revitalize the local economy and recover the people's livelihood economy through active fiscal expansion."
