The Prime Minister's Office said that if five more members of the State Council vote on impeachment and their duties are suspended, it is impossible to vote on the agenda of the State Council.
A senior official from the Prime Minister's Office met with reporters today and responded to a question about the quorum of doctors and decisions at the Cabinet meeting, saying that if five more members of the State Council are impeached, only 10 people will be able to attend.
Currently, there are 21 members of the State Council, including 19 members of the President, Prime Minister, and Minister-level State Council, and the quorum of decision and decision is 11 and 8, respectively.
The official said, "I know that the National Assembly speaker can announce the bill that passed the National Assembly automatically takes effect if the Cabinet cannot be resolved, but I don't think he said it with that in mind as a responsible opposition party."
In response to National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik's public demand for Han Deok-soo to recommend candidates for the permanent special prosecution, he said, "Politicians have different opinions and various interpretations," adding that it is not an easy issue to conclude.
